A true multitasker, our Foundation Gel is a hybrid between a Rubber Base and a Builder Gel - offering the best of both worlds. This versatile, self-levelling gel can be used as a strengthening base coat, under enhancements or, for building structure, making it an essential for every nail tech’s kit.

Application Method
Nail Preparation: For maximum adhesion we recommend thorough dry prep. Use a 150-grit file or sanding band to lightly etch the nail plate. Scrub the entire nail plate with a lint-free wipe and nail cleanser. We also recommend using our Acid Free Primer - apply sparingly and allow 60s to dry.
Natural Nail Overlay Application:
- For a base coat: To ensure good adhesion, scrub a layer of Foundation Gel into the nail plate. DO NOT CURE. Apply a small bead over the top to give you an even layer. Cure for 60s.
- For structure: Complete the step above. Then, apply a thin layer of Foundation Gel and DO NOT CURE. This is a slip layer that acts as a guide to help your next bead of gel flow evenly across the surface.
- Place a bead of Foundation gel on top of your slip layer and use your brush to guide the gel into place. Cure for 60s or 99s low heat mode.
- Remove the inhibition layer using nail cleanser and refine where necessary.
