Nail Preparation: 

For maximum adhesion we recommend thorough dry prep. Use a a 180-grit file or sanding band to lightly etch the nail plate. If your client struggles with adhesion or has oily nails, use a 150-grit file or sanding band. 

Scrub the entire nail plate with a lint-free wipe and nail cleanser. 

If Primer is required, apply sparingly to the natural nail. A thin, even layer is all that’s needed. 

Allow to air dry for 60 seconds.

Natural Nail Overlay Application: 

Base Coat :

Apply a small amount of Base Coat to your brush and place the brush approximately a quarter of the way down the nail plate, away from the cuticle.

Gently push the product towards the cuticle, ensuring you do not touch the cuticle or surrounding skin. Pull the product down the nail, then work along each sidewall.

Once the entire nail plate is covered, apply a very small bead of product over the nail to create an even, smooth layer.

Builder Gel :

Apply a small amount of product to your brush and place the brush approximately a quarter of the way down the nail plate, away from the cuticle.

Gently push the product towards the cuticle, ensuring you do not touch the cuticle or surrounding skin. Pull the product down the nail, then work along each sidewall. This is a slip layer that acts as a guide to help your next bead of gel flow evenly across the surface.

Place a bead of Fibre Builder Gel on top of your slip layer around 3 mm away from the cuticle. Using your brush guide the gel into place moving left to right across the nail. Finally gently glide the brush in the gel down towards the free edge. 

Then turn the hand over for 3 seconds and allow gravity to work its magic.

Cure for 60 seconds in our Pro LED Lamp

Remove the inhibition layer using nail cleanser and refine where necessary.
