Madrid Hard Gel

Our Hard Gel is designed for ultimate strength and durability, making it the perfect choice for clients with an active or hard-wearing lifestyle. With a thin-medium consistency and a self-levelling formula, it’s easy to work with while providing the superior toughness needed for long-lasting enhancements. Ideal for creating extensions with either tips or forms.

Nail Preparation: For maximum adhesion we recommend thorough dry prep. Use a 150-grit file or sanding band (for HEMA-Free) or a 180-grit file or sanding band (for HEMA) to lightly etch the nail plate. Scrub the entire nail plate with a lint-free wipe and nail cleanser. We also recommend using our Acid Free Primer - apply sparingly and allow 60s to dry.

Natural Nail Overlay Application:

1. To ensure good adhesion, scrub a layer of Rubber Base Coat or Foundation Gel into the nail plate. DO NOT CURE. Apply a small bead over the top to give you an even layer. Cure for 60s.
2. Apply a thin layer of Hard Gel and DO NOT CURE. This is a slip layer that acts as a guide to help your next bead of gel flow evenly across the surface.
3. Place a bead of Hard Gel on top of your slip layer and use your brush to guide the gel into place. Cure for 60s or 99s low heat mode.
4. Remove the inhibition layer using nail cleanser and refine where necessary.
